Do I have to trim the wick of my candle?

Trimming the wick will help keep your candle burning without any black soot and will give your candle a longer burn time. Be careful not to trim your wick too much though as this can actually stop the candle from lighting if too short.

How do I use a wax melt?

All wax melts should be used in a melt warmer. Just snap a section out of the clamshell and place it in the top of the warmer. Depending on what style warmer you use, don’t forget to light an unscented tea light or turn it on!

What's the difference between a candle and a wax melt?

Both our candles and wax melts are packed with the maximum FO load meaning they will fill your home with a beautiful aroma every time.

Wax melts will provide a stronger scent throw as the wax doesn’t come into direct contact with the flame.

By candle wax coming into direct contact with the flame much of the scent it burned off due to the higher temperature. That said, it will still provide a lovely scent to fill your room.

If you are looking for a scent to fill your home then wax melts are the way to go. However if you are looking for a more subtle scent, then be sure to look at our range of candles which will look fantastic in any room of your home.

Do you have any tips for candle safety?

Yes we do! The most important being never leave a burning candle unattended.

You should not burn your candle for longer than 4 hours at a time and do not attempt to move a candle when lit as the glass may become hot.

If for any reason the jar cracks, extinguish flame and do not attempt to relight candle.

Do not burn candles near anything flammable.
